I am lucky enough to be able to call my mom my best friend, the bond between us is unlike any other. The love all mothers have for their children is indescribable and one that can be beautiful captured in photographs.
It wasn't until I was in my early 20's that I realized how much I took my close knit family for granted and that time made me realize how truly precious life is. It made me realize how important Mommy and Me photo sessions could be. No matter the age of the mom or the child! It is always the perfect time to capture that bond and love.
I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed in this session, as if we were sitting in your favorite place you spend together, doing your favorite activity. Bring a blanket and some of your favorite books so we can capture beautiful moments of you snuggled up reading together. Bring along a game or some cards and play a game so I can capture the genuine emotion and joy you share when just spending normal time together being yourselves!
These sessions are meant to be intimate without all of the "fluff" of an entire family session. Usually a mini session length (20-30 minutes) in a space where you are free to relax and capture the unique bond you share with your son or daughter. I will capture the raw and natural interactions and emotions you share while just being you with the ones you love the most! No matter if you do this once, or you do it annually to make a timeline of your relationship, the images will be beautiful and will hold memories you will cherish forever.
